This Is Horror / Joseph D’Lacey book launch event at Blackwell’s Charing Cross(0)
The next This Is Horror event will take place at Blackwell’s Charing Cross, London branch on Friday 16 November 2012. Kicking off promptly at 6pm and running through until 8pm, the evening celebrates the launch of Joseph D’Lacey’s forthcoming, Blood Fugue.
The event features readings from Arthur C. Clarke award-winner, Pat Cadigan, the creator of Abaddon Books’ Pax Britannia steampunk universe, Jonathan Green and the award-winning eco-horror stalwart, Joseph D’Lacey. Proceedings will be curated by the voice of horror, Jasper Bark.
There will be copies of the authors books available to buy on the evening, so make sure you bring plenty of money with you. Fortunately, it’s a free event so there’s no charge on the door.

This Is Horror chapbook launch in Manchester(0)
On Saturday 22 September 2012 This Is Horror celebrates the launch of their second chapbook Thin Men with Yellow Faces by Gary McMahon and Simon Bestwick with a very special event. Ramsey Campbell, Gary McMahon, Simon Bestwick and Conrad Williams will be on hand to help launch the title, with Jasper Bark as host.
The launch event will be taking place at MadLab, 36-40 Edge Street, Manchester M4 1HN from 6:30pm and will run through to approximately 8:15pm. Tickets for the event cost just £3. Full details on the website HERE

Pandemonium: Stories of the Smoke brings you London as you’ve never seen it before – science fiction and fantasy in the tradition of the great Charles Dickens.
Please join us for the release of this new collection at the thematically-appropriate Betsey Trotwood pub.
Both the limited edition and the eBook of Stories of the Smoke (plus its companion chapbook, Fire) will be on available for the first time.
Contributors to Stories of the Smoke include Adam Roberts, Archie Black, Jonathan Green, Sarah Lotz, Rebecca Levene, Aliette de Bodard, Alexis Kennedy, James Wallis, Sarah Anne Langton, Jenni van der Merwe, David Thomas Moore, Lavie Tidhar, Kaaron Warren, Michelle Goldsmith, Esther Saxey and Glen Mehn.
Stories of the Smoke is introduced by Christopher Fowler and illustrated by Gary Northfield.
The evening will feature readings from several of the contributors and a silent auction of Gary Northfield’s original artwork, with all proceeds going to benefit English PEN.
A portion of all sales from Stories of the Smoke is also donated to English PEN.
