The BBC2 horror double bills of the 1970s and 1980s are a distant, happy memory. Many classic horror films are now deemed suitable for family viewing, most are ripping yarns and have inspired other film-makers, artists, authors and generally enriched our lives.
Now you can recapture those halcyon days of the old BBC2 Saturday night horror double bills in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere at one of London’s premiere boutique cinema venues.

Film4 Frightfest All-nighter
After the revolting success of last year’s inaugural event, Film4 FrightFest, the UK’s best horror and fantasy film festival, returns, bringing its critically acclaimed midnight madness to Watershed for Halloween. Be entertained in the Café/Bar throughout the night by Hellfire DJs, who have dug deep into the morgue of forgotten, sonic oddities to bring you a deliciously poisonous aural combination of music and bespoke projections spliced together from their collection of bizarro b-movies and vintage euro-schlock positively oozing with sleaze.
With music, projections, food, drinks, plenty of coffee, short films and even a bloody breakfast all here to keep you going, this is bound to be a night to remember. The question is: can you survive the whole night?
