I prefer people to experience Murky Depths in it's full hard copy glory at £6.99 but Issue #10 which features the Lars Rasmussen artwork is available as a pdf download for just £2.

My Chinese dark fantasy "Golden Lilies" in on the long list for Best Short Story: you can find the online version here:
http://www.fantasy-magazine.com/2009/08/golden-lilies/

I can provide a PDF version for those who'd prefer to read offline, just email me: alietteATaliettedebodard.com, replace the AT by @.

(and my deepest thanks to the person(s) who nominated it)

This just in. My publisher found the PDF for Forever Richard or recovered it or whatever . . . and since shipping is such an issue for me with my books coming from the US, I'm happy to let you know I can supply both Never Ceese and Forever Richard free of charge to any voting BFS member who might be interested. Just drop me a note at sdent1@bellsouth.net.

Steve Redwood is also up for swapping books, if people want to share theirs with him for Broken Symmetries.

Also, since my own novel TROGLODYTE ROSE is up for a Lambda Award in the States, I have PDFs of that for anyone willing to give it a review (email editor@doghornpublishing.com and I will send that over myself). I know that's slightly off-topic, but is in the spirit of sharing Smiley x

Many thanks to the people who recommended my stories for the longlist: "Sublimation Angels" in the Best Novella category and "Here We Are, Falling Through Shadows" in the Best Short Story category. Both stories were published last year in Interzone.

Because "Sublimation Angels" is a finalist for this year's Nebula Award for Best Novella, the story is already available on my website as a PDF download at http://www.jasonsanford.com/files/sublimationangels-1.pdf.

Unfortunately, I can't yet post a PDF of "Here We Are, Falling Through Shadows" because the story will be reprinted shortly in Apex Magazine. Until then, email me and I will send you a copy. My contact information is available at http://www.jasonsanford.com/jason/contact.html.

We've now got a couple of strips available online from the relevant issues of The Girly Comic:

The whole of Pumpkin Coach written by Allen Ashley, adapted by Selina Lock & illustrated by Mayko Fry, is available (click on the arrow in the top right-hand corner to move to each new page). http://factorfictionpress.co.uk/webcomic/2010/03/29/pumpkin-coach/

Starting today and running over the next week is God's Gift written by Jay Eales & illustrated by mpMann. http://factorfictionpress.co.uk/webcomic/2010/04/12/gods-gift/

Hope you enjoy

I won't be able to check PMs for a while, so I've uploaded the the two shortlisted stories from "They That Dwell In Dark Places" on Depositfiles, so anyone who's interested can grab them for themselves.

http://depositfiles.com/files/286jcru3e for "The Wager".

http://depositfiles.com/files/smuugfusl for "An Unwise Purchase".

All the best,
Dan

Uprising in post-WWI Munich, an emotional blast from the past in London just before the next world war closes in.
Identity, passion, loss and anti-fascist struggle. A restless revolutionary thrives on freedom as well as blood…

My story "Survivor's Guilt" is on the BFS longlist! If you missed it in Black Static 14, I'll be happy to provide you with a PDF. Contact me at rosanne@lycos.com, or you can simply reply to this with your email address if that's easier.

And thanks to whoever recommended the story.

I am pleased to inform you that CERN ZOO is in the final nominations of the British Fantasy Awards for Best Anthology 2009:

I do not intend to make a general offer of a free copy to those voting, but if you know a BFS voting member who would like a copy to assist in their voting process, please put them on to me.
