Despite my surname, I'm not very good at selling myself... but here goes:

I've had a handful of short stories published to date - in Jupiter, Postscripts, the defunct Pantechnicon - and I've a few more coming out this year. Another in Jupiter - in next month's issue, in fact. One in the BFS' own New Horizons. And one in Catastrophia, an anthology, edited by Allen Ashley, from PS Publishing. It's due to be launched at Fantasycon this year. I'm represented by John Jarrold, and he's trying to sell the first two parts of a big fat space opera for me.

I've posted some of my published fiction on my blog - see here.

I also review books for Interzone, and DVDs for VideoVista - there's a list here.

I have a blog sferse, where I post the occasional sf poem. And another, A Space About Books About Space, where I review books about, well, about space exploration - if any of you are also interested in the subject.

Jupiter 28 is now out, containing one of my stories. It's the second of my Euripidean Space ones, 'A Cold Dish'.

I wrote a piece on my first Euripidean Space story, 'Thicker than Water', on my blog here. It also appeared in Jupiter, but you can read it here (it's a PDF).

I sold a story to M-Brane SF yesterday, and it's going to appear in the August issue. Which has to be the fastest acceptance to print I've experienced. The story is an optimistic dystopia, titled 'Through the Eye of a Needle'.

I have a second story appearing in M-Brane SF, in the October issue. It's another near-future piece, but set in Britain in a world slightly different to this one.

Been busy of late. A story in the first issue of Alt Hist, which has been reviewed in a number of places. And a series of four poems in the last issue of Jupiter.

Now you've all got the latest BFS Journal - and pretty damn smart it looks too - you'll see I've a story in it. 'Barker', a retelling of Laika's story, but with an American boxer (man, not breed of dog). It's on page 22.

We all know flying boats are cool. I had a go at writing a sf story featuring one, and it came out a little bit different thane I'd expected... I posted it on my blog here. Its title is 'Disambiguation'. See what you think...

What's that? You're editing an anthology, you say?

Yes, Jim. I'm glad you asked me that. I am indeed editing an anthology. It's for Mutation Press and will be published in 2012. It's a hard sf anthology titled Rocket Science and you can learn all about it on an informative website here.
