Looking forward to it!

Am I right in thinking this is David Riley and Andrew Hook's last issue? I won't be at the AGM, so this seems like a good place to thank them for all the work they've put in over the last few years. Andrew in particular has published a number of stories that I'll never forget.

Good luck for the future, Andrew. Having my two stories published in New Horizons was fantastic for me. Thanks again for taking a chance on a new writer with "Frankenrabbits".

Copies of the Autumn edition of the JOURNAL and FULL FATHOM FORTY arrived with us this morning, so this week we'll be packaging up and mailing copies to everyone who is NOT attending FantasyCon next weekend.

If you are attending FantasyCon, then please please PLEASE make sure you come and find me at some point over the weekend - the Welcome to FantasyCon and Launch of FULL FATHOM FORTY party on the Friday evening from 17:00 would be good, or if you can't make that, some time on Saturday. Any members who are attending FantasyCon but who don't collect the books will have theirs posted to them after the event.

Cheers

Some nice comments on this issue here, from Terry Grimwood:

Quote
Just finished the Autumn 2011 BFS Journal (the one with the Clive Barker cover) and found it to be a remarkably good issue. Some fantastic stories in there, including excellent tales from our own Joel Lane and John Forth, as well as a corker of a collaboration from Allen Ashley and Douglas Thompson.
