Book I've tried but just can't finish is 1984.  I think it's because so much of it has permeated the world that I feel I already know it.  The embarassing one, though, is Arthur Machen.  Still not read anything.  I know, I know - call myself a horror writer.  It's a priority for this half term.

I'm not embarrased but I've never read Stephen King, Dean Koontz, the Harry Potter books; got bored reading Gaiman's Sandman comic, hmmn, what else? Lots. I either get a mood or feel to read something or I don't and none of those have worked for me. On the other had I've ready plenty of Ramsey Campbell and Clive Barker in my day.
