Yes, I've been to the last two with the Murky Depths table and they've been our most successful conventions. Certainly a different kind of event with a much broader membership base and an open mindedness (or should that be no fear of appearing ignorant) that is a breath of fresh air. There's a carnival atmosphere much of the time and networking opportunities are three-a-penny if you've the inclination - and aren't stuck behind a dealer table! Okay, it's at Pontins so don't expect 5-star comfort but that's more than made up for by the entertainment. Certainly worth the effort, though a Thursday night start has always seemed a bit odd to me.
