Decided this morning to launch a new magazine with my partner, Sophie. She's the main editor and I'm along for the ride. We're not specifically looking for genre, but are open to persuasion. Impress us!

Guidelines for Fur-Lined Ghettos here: http://fur-linedghettos.weebly.com

We've started to make some acceptances for the magazine, but are still seeking more poetry and short prose pieces - the more surreal the better. Give us a try and send us your best Smiley

#2 is coming along nicely on the poetry front, but we still need a longer short story as the backbone of the magazine. Quirky surreal is preferred - any genre considered. Sent us your best work!

Still awaiting that killer story for FLG#2. None are hitting the mark, and we won't be satisfied until we get what we want!

Meanwhile, for UK purchasers, we've dropped the price of #1 from £5 to £3 for a limited period, including postage, so if you haven't done so already please check the mag out and the cool contents therein.

Just to let you know that issue #2 of Fur-Lined Ghettos is now available for order over at http://fur-linedghettos.weebly.com/purchase.html.

Featuring poetry/fiction from Serena Cooke, Sean Thomas Dougherty, Peter Friedman, Daniella Geary, Howie Good, Kyle Hemmings, P A Levy, John W Sexton, Ryan Swofford, Douglas Thompson and Steve Wheat. With cover art by Simanion.

Incidentally, issue #1 is almost sold out so if you haven't already grabbed one be quick!

We are very proud of this issue which features some fantastic work, so please consider buying a copy (or two) so that we can continue! And we are currently open to submissions for #3. Remember: we are looking for short stories, prose and poetry of any genre. As a guideline, that piece you think is brilliant but which you can't seem to place elsewhere will probably find a home with us. We want the surreal, the illogical, the kaleidoscopic, and the feral.

Our website gives a good indication of what we are about, but if you buy an issue you'll have a better idea of what we are looking for.

We are very proud of this issue which features some fantastic work, so please consider buying a copy (or two) so that we can continue! And we are currently open to submissions for #4. Remember: we are looking for short stories, prose and poetry of any genre. As a guideline, that piece you think is brilliant but which you can't seem to place elsewhere will probably find a home with us. We want the surreal, the illogical, the kaleidoscopic, and the feral.

Irreality is deafening.

Our website gives a good indication of what we are about, but if you buy an issue you'll have an even better idea of what we are looking for.
