Hi Guys,

The first DISCOVER FESTIVAL runs from 18th-20th May this year at the fantasy Snibston Discovery Museum in Leicestershire, and the event is taking shape all the time as we close in on the big weekend! As such, I thought it'd be a good idea to pass on all the latest news...

The schedule for the weekend is on its way, and I'm pleased to confirm two film screenings - Friday night will see a showing of the fantastic British ghost story THE AWAKENING, while Saturday night's feature will be a late-night double creature-feature of ISLAND OF LOST SOULS and TALES OF FRANKENSTEIN. Both of the screening are free to attendees of the event, so all you need to do is grab yourself a seat and enjoy!

We've also confirmed a MASS SIGNING for Saturday evening, which will be featuring more than 20 authors taking part, and this will be followed by our RAFFLE, which already has some fantastic prizes confirmed. I expect both of these events to be real highlights of the weekend, and will be sitting alongside our packed programme of readings, workshops, panels and readings.

The line-up for the event is pretty much confirmed as well, and as well as our superb guests of honour GRAHAM MASTERTON, PETER F HAMILTON and JON COURTENAY GRIMWOOD we've also confirmed a wonderful array of talent including Mark Chadbourn, Graham Joyce, Paul Magrs, George Mann, Stan Nicholls, Ian Whates, Conrad Williams and many more.

Tickets for Friday-Sunday are just £45, and include a fantastic goodie bag and access to all activities at the event. For all the very latest information on the line-up, the venue, how to get there, booking and much more, just stop by our website at www.discoverfestival.co.uk or check out our blog for all the latest at http://discoverevent2012.blogspot.com/

Thanks a lot!
