Hi everyone

My name is Lily Childs and I'm a writer of horror, dark fiction and urban fantasy. I attended FantasyCon in 2011 and joined the BFS in December. I've been dipping in and out of the forum since then and have finally plucked up the courage to introduce myself so... hello!

I've had short stories published in a handful of anthologies as well as on various ezines; one of these tales was nominated for a 2011 Spinetingler Award.

I have four eBooks on Amazon: a collection of extreme horror stories, two short novellas in a dark urban fantasy series (third one on the way) and a collection of dark verse. I'm writing my first supernatural mystery novel, with another two outlined.

I blog regularly, run a weekly flash fiction challenge and am Horror Editor at ezine Thrillers Killers 'n' Chillers http://thrillskillsnchills.blogspot.co.uk/.

I also have a full-time day job as a web content manager, and live in East Sussex with my husband and daughter, just a stone's throw from the sea.
