Back in the 1980s the BFS produced an art portfolio to highlight Jim Pitts. Read more here:

http://petercoleborn.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/olde-horrors.html

Sorting through boxes of magazines today I've come across a couple of duplicate copies. I don't need to keep these and so if anyone wants to buy one of these portfolios please contact me. (I know the BFS forums aren't meant to be places of commerce -- I apologise, but I can't think of a better site on which to mention this.)

Hey BFS, that's a thought, let's have some more portfolios -- there are lots of talented artists in the society.

To write. To be truly read. That must be glorious.

Maybe you could put together a portfolio of art used in the various BFS publications over the years?

Thanks to Peter and Jan, I've now got a copy of Jim Pitts' "Olde Horrors", and mighty fine it is too. Yes, it would be lovely to see the BFS produce more portfolios like this nowadays. Some of my favourite artists who spring to mind would be Steve Upham, Paul Mudie (Black Books of Horror) and Dani Serra. Would love to see portfolios of work done by them.
