Hiya

Andrew Hook of Elastic Press will be the first GoH of the year, on the 3rd March at the Devereaux.  He will be doing the London launch of their most recent title: "The Last Days of Johnny North" by David Swann.  Andrew is a regular at our open nights and will be around to sell and answer queries, and hopefully David will be joining us too.

Thanks Vicky. David Swann will most definitely be there and will be very pleased to sign copies of the book, and indulge in some beer and chat  Smiley

Hope to see as many of you there as possible!

Just had news from David Swann that he's mistakenly got the wrong night for this Friday's BFS Open Night and therefore won't be able to come as guest of honour. I'll be there, of course, and will bring some books, but he sends his apologies as he'll be on holiday this weekend - something that's been pre-booked for a while. Those of you desperate to hear his voice, can always tune in live to Radio Nottingham tomorrow morning at 11am when he'll be interviewed during the John Holmes show...

Once again, whilst I doubt anyone was travelling especially to see Dave, I apologise for mucking up the schedule and hope that no other guests of honour were put off because we'd nabbed that slot.

You could always bring a cardboard cut-out of him and fake it...   Grin

I'll be there from about 6:30 onwards. I think that's the usual time that these events start.

Jen: good idea!

Does the 8th December still stand?

It's just time is a-ticking and the number of cheap train tickets are a-dwindling...  Sad
